Astadia Announces the Cloud Computing Acceleration Program (CCAP)
CCAP enables systems integrators and consultants worldwide to initiate or accelerate their Cloud Computing capabilities using Salesforce CRM and the Force.com platform
SAN FRANCISCO – November 5, 2008 – Astadia, Inc., the leader in Cloud Computing services and solutions and one of salesforce.com’s largest system integrators, announced today at Dreamforce ’08 the formation of the Astadia Cloud Computing Acceleration Program™ (CCAP). The CCAP provides Systems Integrators, ISVs and Consultants worldwide with the tools and the confidence to deliver the leading Cloud Computing solutions, including Salesforce CRM and the Force.com platform to their clients.
CCAP is a global initiative that will allow members in US, EMEA, APAC and Latin America to take advantage of Astadia’s sales and services infrastructure and vertical market products to grow Cloud Computing practices. Benefits of CCAP include:
- Fast track entry or acceleration into the Cloud Computing world
- Territory based in-bound leads
- Market development plans to jump-start sales
- Comprehensive sales support for projects of any size
- Training and certification on Astadia Cloud Computing methodologies and processes for maximum customer success
- Access to the Astadia Global Development Centre – a world-class Cloud Computıng development facility
- Access to Astadia integration and vertical market solutions
- Expert assistance in transitioning software applications to the Cloud
“The traditional SI and VAR business models must evolve due to the success Cloud Computing offers customers,” said Bobby Napiltonia, senior vice president, worldwide channels and alliances, salesforce.com. “Traditional SIs and VARs are realizing that they need to harness the power of Cloud Computing to stay relevant and service client demand. Astadia´s Cloud Computıng Acceleration Program is designed to help SIs and VARs rapidly build market leading Cloud Computing businesses, leveraging Salesforce CRM and the Force.com platform. CCAP members get to leverage Astadia’s customer success, global foot print and best practices to benefit from the generational shift in how businesses buy and consume technology.”
Ernie Riddle, President & CEO of Astadia notes “Since starting Astadia in 2002, we have focused on building a platform for growth and client success. Our vision for Astadia has been to help clients look at their 5 year technology roadmaps and plan for long term migrations to the best Cloud Computing technologies. CCAP is the natural extension of our capabilities and brand. CCAP partners are critical to our future growth as we look to cover more geographies and vertical markets. Over the last two years we have had success partnering with other leading SIs and VARs in the US and around the world. CCAP is a way to formalize this process and expand our offering to customers in key markets.”
Astadia also announces the first three Founding CCAP members:
- Kerensen Consulting SAS, based in Paris, France
- Vivens Group Netherland BV, based in Joure, Netherlands
- expw consulting, in London, UK
“The market for Cloud Computing solutions is growing dramatically here in France,” said Michel Assouline and Alain Attias, co-founders of Kerensen Consulting SAS. “As a salesforce.com partner, we are identifying significant new opportunities with enterprise customers. To date, we have partnered with Astadia on a number of projects. We have found their scale and depth of experience, aligned to Kerensen’s business expertise and market penetration model has helped us compete successfully against larger global systems integrators on opportunities where the client would not normally have included us in the vendor consideration set. We welcome the formation of CCAP and to contributing to its ongoing development across EMEA.”
“We have been partners with salesforce.com since 2006 here in the Benelux,” said Steven Deroy, Managing Partner of Vivens. “With the launch of Force.com and the new uses our customers have for Salesforce CRM, we are seeing customer requirements where additional vertical market expertise and geographic coverage would be very helpful. We are also seeing clients looking to adopt additional Cloud Computing applications where Astadia already has an established partner network. The CCAP will help us to provide more complete solutions to our clients and derive more revenue per client.”
“Our clients are asking us for Cloud Computing solutions and in particular they are asking for salesforce.com.” said Justin Gaydon, COO of expw consulting. “We are in the process of signing up with salesforce.com but went ahead and joined the CCAP first. Our clients are both sophisticated and demanding and require seasoned expertise from us. Therefore, we see the need to bring complete solutions to our clients with the first project. The CCAP gives our firm the confidence to design cutting edge solutions in the Cloud now, not after 6 months of developing our internal skill sets.”
